Title Gloves Review 2018

Title was founded in 1998 and they quickly established themselves as an authority in the boxing industry. They made a name for themselves by creating top quality boxing gear and really ingraining themselves into the boxing world. It wasn’t enough for Title to just make money from selling gear; they really wanted to be a part of the boxing world itself. It was always more than just a business to them.

After carving themselves a deep recess into the boxing world, MMA began to rear it’s head. MMA as we know it began in 1993 with the first UFC event. 14 years later, in 2007, Title began to expand into the MMA world. With almost a decade of business and experience under their belt, they quickly established themselves as a go to MMA brand as well as a boxing brand. This was a big deal because many companies have attempted this and failed. Some companies sprung up out of nowhere to jump on the MMA bandwagon, only to collapse almost immediately. Many boxing companies tried to cash in on MMA’s growth and just were not able to adapt to MMA’s needs. These companies went back to their boxing gear with their tails between their legs but not Title.

Best Title Gloves Reviewed

Title are different from a lot of companies as they’re never satisfied. It’s not enough to release a great glove or a well-selling pair of shorts. Title have the unrelenting need to iterate and improve. To optimise. To take what works and make it better. To take what doesn’t work and either discard completely or turn that weakness into a strength.

Title Gel World Boxing Gloves

Boxing gloves don’t normally do sizes, they do weights. It’s rare that you see sizes such as small, medium, etc. in boxing gloves. MMA gloves? Sure. MMA gloves are normally 4-6oz so they can size them differently. Boxing gloves are generally thought of as one-size-fits-all.

This one-size-fits-all approach can be a big problem for those with hands on either extremes of the spectrum; either very large or very small.

Title, in their ever-present wisdom, have decided to rectify this by making an excellent 16oz boxing glove that actually has proper sizes. The gloves weighs around 16oz but you can choose from sizes like small, medium, large and X-large. Title have even included a handy size chart to help you choose the perfect fit.

The handy wraparound adjustable strap is easily fastened and undone; you can whip these gloves on and off quickly without much fuss and can be adjusted just as easily if you feel the need to.

These gloves have a modern style to them with colour options of black/white, pink/white and red/white.

They feature an exclusive gel enforced lining, that coupled with the multi-layered foam provides you with both excellent comfort and stellar durability. This glove is tough as nails yet soft as silk on the inside. It’s rare that you get a glove that is this tough and durable without there being some compromise on comfort. Title have given you the best of both worlds.

Title Classic Pro Style Training Gloves

The Classic Pro Style gloves from Title feature a super tough and durable synthetic leather coating. Despite it being tough, the synthetic leather feels smooth and supple. The smooth surface minimises things like scratches and other surface damage as the material is less likely to snag or catch on anything.

The multi-layer shock absorbing foam allows the glove to take all the force and disperse that force across the glove. The glove takes the blow, not you. The multi-layered system allows for superior force dispersal than you would get with a glove that has a more basic foam system. You can never have too much protection for your hands and you also don’t want to be cutting or injuring your opponents during sparring sessions.

The hand compartment is lined with a  satin-nylon material which helps repel moisture retention and just generally provide a more pleasant experience for your hands whilst you’re wearing the gloves. Some people don’t think much of features like repelling moisture but they sure will be when they’re several rounds deep into sparring and really beginning to sweat. These features can make all the difference in fighter comfort.

Title offer four splendid colours to choose from with these gloves; purple, navy blue, orange and green. The gloves are also available in weights of 12oz, 14oz and 16oz.

Title Classic Boxing Gloves

You’re not going to find a better pair of boxing gloves at such a low price. It’s impossible. Only a company with years of experience like Title know how to produce such quality without costing you and themselves a fortune. These are perfect if you’re just starting out and aren’t sure if you’re even going to like boxing or combat sports just yet. At such as low price, there’s no risk to it.

Even if you’ve been training for years and just want a decent pair of gloves without splashing out, these gloves are perfect. This price point is also great for those who want a pair of boxing gloves for lower impact things like circuit training, etc.

It has a tough vinyl coating on the exterior of the glove which makes it easy to wipe clean of fluids such as sweat, water and even blood. You can safely wipe the glove without worrying about wiping off the logos, images, coating, etc.

The pre-curved fit is great for newbies as the glove essentially coaches your hand into the correct position so you can make a fist and be safe from impact and injury.

The hook and loop wrist closure is another good addition for those new to the sport as they can easily put the gloves on or take them off without faffing around. Lace up gloves are great but that’s one more thing for the newbie to worry about that they could do without.
